In traditional endodontic treatment, the pulp tissue is removed, the root system is cleaned and finally filled with a biocompatible material. Instead, regenerative techniques enable us to recreate living tissue inside the tooth, which will replace the pulp that was lost. In teeth with an unformed apex, this often allows root formation to be completed.
